To achieve the next level, Dragon RTC trainers provide the tools, motivation, and techniques needed.

Eleazar De Luca

Founder

Eleazar comes from Talent, Oregon, where he wrestled for Phoenix High School. In high school he was a three-time state champion. After high school he spent a year at the Olympic Training Center and during that year he won the 2019 Fila Jr Greco Roman National Championships. After the Olympic training Center De Luca spent two years at Clackamas Community College under Josh Rohden. There he was a two-time NJCAA All-American and a National Finalist. He then transferred to the University Of Northern Colorado where he finished 4th place at the Big 12 Championships. De Luca would finish up his colligate career at Rutgers University where he was a 2018 Big 10 place winner and NCAA Qualifier. De Luca started Coaching the Gilroy Hawks wrestling Program under California’s legendary coach, Greg Varela. When Varela left, De Luca followed helping found the Bay Area Dragon Wrestling Center. De Luca took the Dragons east to Bergen Catholic HS in 2019 and has since turned the Dragon RTC into one of the top youth developmental programs in the country.

Scott DelVecchio

Dragon Trainer

 DelVecchio, a South Plainfield, New Jersey native finished tied for 23rd in program history at Rutgers with 88 wins and qualified for three NCAA Championships. He was named an All-American in 2018 for his efforts on the mat. Scott has been with the Dragons since the beginning in 2018. His accolades include 2 New Jersey State titles at South Plainfield High School where he was a brick in the  “Murders Row” line up. He then took his Talents to Rutgers University where he was a 4X NCAA Qualifier reaching the podium his senior season earring a 6th Place finish at the 2018 NCAA Championships. Scott is also the head assistant wrestling coach at Steven’s University.

DelVecchio, who was a two-time Big Ten championship place-winner at 133 pounds, became just the fourth Scarlet Knight since 1979 to enter the national championship unseeded and earn All-American status, with a come-from-behind win over Drexel’s seventh-seeded Anthony DeSanto.

Pauly Amato

Pauly Amato spent Years in the Red Hawk Wrestling program under legendary coach Michael Ciasulli before he came to the Dragons  in 2019. His sons Vincenzo and Santino Amato where amongst the first at the Dragon RTC. Coach Pauly has been a crucial member of the Dragons team and has helped develop the Dragon System of Wrestling. 

Anthony Ashnault

Dragon Trainer

The first 4X Undefeated New Jersey State Champion for South Plainfield High school. There, he was teammates with Scott DelVecchoio.  Ashnault brought his talents to Rutgers University, where he was the programs first 4X NCAA All-American securing an NCAA Title at 149lbs in 2019. Ashnault has been a staple in the Dragons program.

Vougar Orujov

Head Freestyle Development Coach

Vougar is a two-time freestyle wrestling world champion and an Olympic bronze medalist for Russia. Currently, he is the owner of Vougar Honors wrestling club in Syosset, NY and is the Head Wrestling Coach at Nassau Community College. Vougar brings in a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Dragon RTC, he has trained numerous NCAA Champions and All Americans.
